Who I am
I'm Stefan Domančić, a maxillofacial surgeon trained at the Universidad de Chile. Orthognathic surgery is still little known, both by many patients and in other health specialties. It is a field in constant development and growth, and its benefits for quality of life—how you breathe, how you chew, how you rest and how you look—are very valuable. That is why I make this contribution: to inform openly, so that more people can benefit from a high-quality treatment of great value for their health.
How I work
I study each case individually and with attention to detail. My team and I plan it from start to finish, using the technologies each case needs. The work is multidisciplinary: with orthodontists—the Dental Concept Studio team, or your own if you already have one—and with other specialties when the case requires it.
Where to find me
I see patients at Dental Concept Studio, Av. Providencia 1939, Providencia. I'm accredited at several private clinics and I see self-paying patients as well as patients covered by Isapre (private health insurance in Chile) and Fonasa (Chile's public health insurance); there are payment options, which we discuss at the evaluation. I also teach in the postgraduate program at the Universidad de Chile, alongside colleagues with whom I share the training of new specialists.

What surgeries does he perform?
His focus is orthognathic surgery and the surgeries that complement it in the face and in the jaw joints. Each one is indicated according to each person's diagnosis, and they are often planned together.
Does he see Isapre and Fonasa patients?
Yes. He sees self-paying patients as well as Isapre and Fonasa patients, and there are payment options. Each alternative is discussed at the evaluation.
Can I see him if I already have an orthodontist?
Yes. Dr. Domančić works with different orthodontists and coordinates the plan with yours from the start. If you don't have an orthodontist, the clinic's orthodontic team at Dental Concept Studio will be with you along the way.
What should I bring to my first evaluation?
If you have recent X-rays, scans or test results, bring them. If not, that's fine: at the evaluation we'll tell you exactly what to request for your case. The most important thing is to come with your questions.
